Trailer for Blender modeling training DVD, licensed as CC, sold via Blender e-shop to support current and future Open Blender projects.

3D character modeling in Blender 2.5x, with focus on workflow and managing all-quad topology for animation use, by Angela Guenette - Character Modeler, "Sintel". 6 hrs training material (edited from 40 hrs recorded footage), 37 video chapters, 1440x900. Requires a good understanding of modeling basics in Blender. Includes reference images from 3d.sk (used with permission and are marked with their copyright), prepared background images, concepts, and .blend file of final completed character model. Final model total base mesh polycount: 22,700 faces, 18 objects.

I had bought the DVD and when I tried to look at the video tutorials none of them seem to be working, is there a solution to that problem???

Please visit Blender e-shop's "Blenderella DVD" product info regarding manufacturer issue in the first batch of DVD's for the Windows platform.

In the meantime, you can access video files via dvd's VIDEO folder. They're still listed in viewing order.

I tried the VIDEO folder, however they will not play on my Window's Movie Maker.

Download VLC player. That should work for MKV files on any platform.

This training DVD does both: Shows the making of the Blenderella model, and also teaches workflow/tips/tools used while making it. More information is provided at Blender's e-shop (link is listed in this video's description).

How did they change the original blender interface to make it look like the one in the DVD? Looks totally different.
