Toni sings this song on her talk show...The first part is sung in Spanish, then she finishes the song in English. It was an international hit for Captain & Tennille...And YES...It was written by Toni Tennille!!! I apologize for the poor quality of this song. The tracking seems to be off. It's still better than nothing. Remember alot of these were from back in the day when we had TV antennas on the roof...If it was windy out side, the tv would get lousy reception!!!

man!!!! this song reminds me back 1977 i had a friend up in the mountains....one night we played that record for 3 hours...i love this music..it's a shame nobody does it anymore..i hate the music we have nowadays.......

ABSOLUTELY HATE that Toni translated this beautiful song into mexican. This is why this video will get a DISLIKE from me, even though I have loved the original rendition for decades.

This song does sound beautiful in the spanish language! One question though....Toni said that this was their first international hit? I thought "Love Will Keep Us Together" (also recorded in spanish, in fact, the entire album was ) was also a hit for them in spanish. Anybody know??

She probably was rushed at the time she went on stage, she didn't stop to think that she did have a hit in Mexico...Maybe Mexico to her is Locally and international , she meant is overseas.... But she is a very good singer in Spanish. A friend of mine who is Mexican says Toni does an excellent job with the pronunciation of her words in Spanish!!!! Toni always takes that extra step to be the BEST!
