The "point" of Dylan's songs (if there is one, which I seriously doubt) is that many of them are universal..... This version isn't even on the same map as his original..... It's almost a new song, but it's flat out wonderful, IMHO!

I heard them do this song earlier tonight at the Lowell Folk Festival - absolutely spell-binding. A truly outstanding band, and oh, what a voice!

This version is simply fantastic... But just clear things up about Bob.. Maybe not the best singer but yes a great poet...but lets not forget where the original melody came from... Words on paper only create 1 part of the story, the rest is in the melody and delivery... And there we pay respects to Mr Dylan....
