According to the ACC refs, the Clemson ball carrier made it to the 1 yard line, and was not tackled in the end zone. Watch for yourself and you decide.

This came immediately after another safety that was overturned by the referees - in the fourth quarter of an extremely close game.

  • he made it a um sucks. we basically won that game but got a penalty for having too few men on the field which is the dumbest thing ive ever heard.

  • Then you obviously didn't read your first sentence.

  • a little thing called forward progress. he got out and was then pushed back in. they'll call it every time. they made the obvious and the right call.

  • Forward progress still didn't even get him to the goal line. The refs spotted the ball at the 1 yard line. Even if you want to try to argue (incorrectly) that he may have reached the goal line, there is NO WAY he reached the one.

  • the refs through that game in marylands favor.

clemson lost to BC by one point. terps got their butts handed to em.

  • You realize that the refs called just *ONE* penalty against Clemson that entire game, right? Yeah, that's a definite indication that the refs were out to get Clemson.

  • Yeah ur pretty much the biggest idiot in the world.

  • I won't argue with the main point, which is that ACC Refs stink. But at least Maryland won this game. That loss sealed Clemson out of the ACC Championship game. If you wanna see a bad call decide the ACC Championship, check out my video of the 1985 Maryland at Clemson game winning "TD".

  • Obvious???? JDandCJ128, do you know what the word "obvious" means? I'll put it into context for you. When you pause the video at 5 seconds into the film, you can see that this is the end of the running back's forward progress. It is "OBVIOUS" that he is still at least 1 yard short of getting to the goal line!

  • That call was crap

  • not as good as the one we've got

  • likewise, we'll have a QB, too.
