    FACT: There is NO PLANT BASED food source for all the essential amino acids and the human digestive system CAN NOT DIGEST AND ABSORB the necessary ammounts of B vitamins from plant sources. People stranded on an island and forced to be 100% pure vegans will die from malnutrition and vitamin deficiencies.

    FACT: Proteins from animal foods (meat, fish, poultry, cheese, eggs, yogurt,& milk) are complete.Proteins from plant foods (legumes, grains,& vegetables) tend to have less of one or more essential amino acids. . .FACT: Drs. have long known that a strict vegan diet (one that excludes ALL animal products leads to vitamin B-12 deficiency, and heart disease. Please use google and stop this public display of your complete ignorance DianeDi. I bet you're a PETA freak.

    Your so called FACTS are incorrect. Too much protein is a problem, particularly animal protein. Animal protein, particularly casein in dairy promotes cancer cell growth, particularly breast & prostate. Protein also inhibits calcium absorption. Animal protein makes the body acidic & uses precious stored minerals to pH balance the blood. B-12 is available in organic produce, the problem is with depleted soils and chemical fertilizers. Don't call folks ignorant, again do your homework.

    On average, the Maasai male can expect to live for only 43 years, That is about the age most people here start to have health issues. They simply don't live long enough to experience this.

    Consuming raw milk, raw meat and drinking blood is obviously not extending their lifespan.

    Personally, if I were you, I would make it a first priority to eliminate dairy products. There are a number of studies that show it is directly related to breast and prostate cancer.  Think of milk as liquid meat - it does not do a body good, unless you are a baby calf. Try almond milk - I prefer the tetra packs of Blue Diamond - original, unsweetened.     Regarding B vitamins, vegan foods can provide all of them except B12 (and in fact, vegans often have higher counts of B6 and B9 (folate) than omnivores or even ovo-lactos. B12 is produced by bacteria, and vegan desert island refugees would get their B12 as our ancestors did, from bacteria in the soil. If we didn't have to wash vegetables so thoroughly due to chemical pesticides and weed killers and/or animal manure fertilizer applied to crops by commercial farms, we'd get all the B12 we need.

    While no single plant food has all 9 essential amino acids, all can be acquired through vegan sources; and contrary to the once held belief that we need to intake all 9 in a single meal to be biologically effective, we now know the body can assemble the "complete protein" later.
