Hi there. I work with Rex and I just posted this to his FB wall. I'm not sure that he's heard it, but it is very beautiful. Whitecross is still together and will be touring Europe in the Fall. Rex has a new CD out called That Was Then, This Is Now! It's heavy blues and very good! Again, beautiful job!

@luvjasmin Wow! No joke that means a lot! I hope Rex does get a chance to hear it. He is one outstanding player. To be honest I had lost track of him shortly after hearing Flashpoint. It was the one song I really wanted to learn how to play. I took a listen to That was Then, this is Now, and that album sounds awesome. Picked up a copy right away. I appreciate the compliments very much and tell Rex he's a great musical influence to have.

Appreciate the compliment. Good luck to you and I'll try to see if i can get a vid of me going through the keystrokes. The problem with that is that Im not like most piano players, since I never had lessons. So if you're taking lessons now it might be a little different when you see me play it

its a little hard to explain since i taught myself how to play piano by ear. I can tell you that its in the key of G major, up until :35 when it turns into D major... then at :42 it goes back to g. Repetition playing it along with the recording was the way I learned how to do it.
