these 3lbs+ tilapia live in brackish water near the power plant in fort myers florida. this video is from the manatee park next to the power plant. tilapia are not a game fish in Florida, you may catch as many as you want and there is no size limit. this video is from a no fishing area where tourists can look at them.

  • There are some monstrous blue tilapia in the lakes at Edison College. I caught a few of them by tricking the males into picking up my algae-covered hook to remove it from their nests. Really beautiful fish, imo.
