2012 Video Competition for Students on the theme of "Moving towards more responsible lifestyles".
Organised by PERL, partnership in education for responsible living, in association with DESIS, Design for social innovation and sustainability network.
• Are you a student and interested in the power of images / multimedia?
• Are you concerned about sustainability and responsible lifestyles, and how your own behaviour could have consequences for now and the future?
Then take action NOW by creating a 60-second VIDEO for the web! Be creative and become famous!

Video entries should be posted on the DESIS YouTube channel, Design for social innovation and sustainability network: http://www.youtube.com/user/DESISNETWORK
This VIDEO competition is opened to full or part time students of all ages who are attending Secondary, Further or Higher Education at the time of submitting their entry.
Video entries should focus on an aspect of sustainable / responsible living aimed at one of the following audiences:
● 3-6 year olds
● 7-12 year olds
● 13-16 year olds
● 17 + year olds
Videos should be a maximum of 60 seconds in length -- no more.
Videos can have sound and music but no talk/dialogue.
The closing date for the competition is 15th February 2012.
Prizes - Winning videos will be:
• Screened at the PERL 7th International Conference in Berlin 19-20th March 2012
• Uploaded to the UNESCO Facebook group and the PERL Facebook group
• Promoted to PERL partners in over 100 institutions in more than 40 countries
In addition prize money will be awarded as follows: 1st prize €250, 2nd prize €150, 3rd prize €100.
