Belly Dance Seattle Classes How To Dance With a Veil

Adding advanced technique with veil for belly dance adds a further dimension of play, intrigue, sensuality, and challenge for the dancer. In this video, I show you at least nine moves you can do with veil, and we aren't even scratching the surface to the possibilities!

The overall effect is not to have fancy veil tricks, but to select and distribute veil movements seamlessly, with a lyricism that matches the music you've chosen. My tip to you: select a piece of music that you love, and build each veil movement in a combination that makes sense from the moment you enter to the moment you place your veil down.

Because I have studied with Sabura, I have been careful not to reveal her advanced wrapping and unwrapping techniques which I feel are best learned in her workshop, not off a free video clip.

@SaniyahRaks So many of us were trained to make notes, write it down as way to learn. But with video, you get instant feedback, and if you forget, you can easily review. I highly recommend all dancers to film themselves in practice on a regular basis.
