Thank you for posting this. I was there on the very last night - the last show and recorded it on a new phone - and I didn't hit "save"... I almost cried. I was going through some very difficult times in my life and had been going almost weekly just to watch this to cry and get encouraged. It worked... thanks for the reminder...

Obviously 3 People don't realize that Dream Can Come True,If you just work hard and push yourself to climb that Ladder.

I just found out they took this down. I am so depressed now. This was one of the main highlights of my visits to California Adventure. And now they destroy the lake. >:(

DOWN IN FRONT! Get your head out of the way!

This looked like such a great show. From what I saw, it looked like it was in the same tradition as Epcot's "The American Adventure". The montage and song worked together wonderfully, and it was cool seeing Whoopi Goldberg as the host. (Also, I want to extend major kudos to DCA for including footage of a young, vibrant Howard Hughes in the montage, with the song lyrics "...we are the wings, that can fly into forever..." At this point, I literally felt tears forming in my eyes.)

Sometimes the truly harsh realities of life in early California is too much for somebody who is just looking for a fun time in the Park. I suppose I can't blame the complainers, (try explaining the obviously horrible deaths of the two Chinese railworkers to Johnny, while waiting for that next corndog), but it was an amazingly powerful, honest look at the building of an amazing state, warts and all. I only hope the original idea to move the theater is still in the remodel plan! Bring this back!
