In this movie, a subject uses scalp-recorded sensorimotor rhythms to control a robotic arm in two dimensions (one dimension controls the thumb; the other dimension controls the other fingers). The subject's task is to mimick hand gestures shown by a technician.

The BCI system shown in this video is BCI2000. BCI2000 is a general-purpose system for brain-computer interface (BCI) research. It can also be used for data acquisition, stimulus presentation, and brain monitoring applications. The mission of the BCI2000 project is to facilitate research and applications in these areas.   • nice start i can only imagine half robot people walking around streets with 4 hands, and chating your friend in your mind! hope ill live to that day!
