@sferrin2 Nothing wrong with the angle, it has to do with the tracking algorithms. The launcher points in the direction it expects the missile to intercept, when the missile realised it wasn't going to hit it there, it had to whip around. Since it was short range it doesn't matter, but you see the same junk with THAAD which cuts down its intercept range when it loses so much inertia.
Yeah, got what you meant about five seconds after I hit "post" but there's no edit button. As for the violence of the PAC-3 manuever it could have more to do with the camera angle than anything.
I think SAMP-T beats that.
