I forgot to say about cell signalling with b lympocytes so:
Cell signalling is how cells communicate with each other.
A cell can release or present a substance that binds to the receptors on another cell which causes a response from the other cell.
It's important cause in the immune response it helps to activate all the diff. types of white blood cells that are needed.
E.g. T lymphocytes release substances that bind to receptors on B lymphocytes which activates the B lymp. - the T lymp. are signalling to the B lymp. that there's a pathogen in the body.
