Relvin Sun describes his IMC Summer Residency project working with the strategic service team of Epsilon's E-Mail Marketing Solutions Group. Relvin's major project was the development of a "Share of Inbox" analysis, seeking business opportunities by analyzing overlapping email addresses across Epsilon's 150+ clients. He used SAS to analyze over 300 million e-mail addresses, their promotion history, and their click-though responses. Relvin's findings were presented to the Epsilon's executive team by his Vice President. Two of Epsilon's largest clients have started applying Relvin's findings to their marketing programs.
