  • OMG! I remember this commercial when it aired. We were living in Centerville outside of Dayton, OH in '79 and I can remember watching this. The Beast is still the best coaster they have.

  • That'd be 1979, when The Beast first opened...30 years later, it's still one great, great coaster. Especially at night! :D

  • i remember this, and i was disappointed because i was too young to ride it. i grew up though, and i've ridden this awesome coaster over 20 times. it will always be one of the best wooden coasters in the world. <3 u Beast!

  • best coaster in the world

  • Diamondback made me scared, but the Beast made me cry sort of...

  • this is a credit to old school animation. Wow!!!

  • @wsbtam I live in N. Ky now but I do get up to KI when possible.

  • @Madman007 where you live now?? i'm from kettering we were neighbors..lol

  • WOW!!! Oh how I remember this commercial. Living in Indianapolis we went to Kings Island every summer. This commercial was such a big deal back in the day.

  • @misfitsfiend69 I swear it's faster at night :) love it!

  • @Ashtinz you need to re ride it it's not rough anymore in 2009 or so the fixed some of the track to make it much more smoother trust me I rode it about a week ago

  • My favourite rollercoaster. It beats the diamond back but Im sure thats because its more thrilling being knocked around and its nostalgic. I always wanted to read the story for the beast itself. (Not RL Stines b out the ghost but the actual story on what the beast really is and how it go there.) I'd also love to see a full picture of the beast by the original artist..
