is game harder than lifeforce?

This is the hardest 2D shooter I have ever played. I heard there are other shooters around there that are known as "Bullet hells" but for me, this is the hardest one. So yeah, I think this is harder than LifeForce.

I try to measure both games in their closest level of possible gameplay. Ikaruga is playable with only 5 lifes. I think LifeForce is playable with 30, so my answer is, with 30 lifes.

Can you play Ikaruga in cooperative mode on the Game Cube? If so, how many players?

hey great video sirrr...and yes u ARE rite, Ikaruga IS one of the hardest games ever made...that and F-Zero GX r known to b da hardest on Gamecub

@jamescorck No no, the DC and Xbox Live version are the best. Atari removed every trace of the story (if little) that the original had for the GC, but that was reverted in the Xbox 360 version.
