I have many different setups in this video i used one with a silicone recess . I sometimes use 1 silicone pad and I have also made my own pads that are really good.

you can get mineral spirits at your local hardware store and then get a thick plastic or glass cup and put the bearing in it for about 3 to 5 minutes or longer if you feel you need it. then spin dry it on a chopstick or a pencil and then you can ether play the bearing dry or you can add a tiny drop of thin lube like yoyo jam thin lube in it if you want hope that helps.
