He joins Lara, Shull & May after four years' experience at Ameriprise Financial's Washington DC/Baltimore market group, where he was a top advisor, advisor coach, career development conference qualifier and Mercury award winner.

A graduate of James Madison University with a B.B.A. Business and concentration in finance, Curtis currently holds Series 7, Series 66, Life and Health Insurance licenses and is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor ("CRPC").

Curtis is a native of Great Barrington, Massachusetts with strong ties to the Berkshires and greater Washington DC area. He is engaged to fiancé Jennifer Kern of Reston, VA, and enjoys golfing, skiing, volunteering and staying active in church and community.
