I rode this when I was about five...it was a traumatic experience. I thought the big monster thing at the end was real. Then we pulled into the station. And like Rotard12a said, the operators thought I had received some sort of injury...

the end is lame! I thought a big drop was coming, and it was nothing

@WalterDinsey Well most Arrow Mine Trains have wooden supports and rails that supposed to look rusty. I mean the coaster type is called a Mine Train for a reason. Also it is well themed, not as well as Big Thunder Mountain at every Disney Park. But still better then other mine trains. Also I do agree the ending is kinda dumb, but it was made for families and little kids, and I think one big hill with a big drop was good enough.

@185139 First time I've ever been told that I'm not allowed to point out a fallacy because someone gave it a thumbs up. I replied because someone didn't think through what they were saying, not because of what part of the page it was on.

@Rotard12a why are you commenting on a top post, do you really crave attention that much
-
@185139 Because the ride is designed for little kids. Duh.

@Rotard12a I'm with you. I rode this when I was around the same age, and it was absolutely terrifying. I always had to cover my eyes on the final lift hill.

wow this is my favorite channel for rollercoasters! You rock coasterforce!

"One of the best themed Mine Train roller coasters" - Wooden supports, rusty rails and some tunnels doesn't even make it a well themed Mine Train. Only the last lift hill looks quite nice. But it creates so much suspense which isn't relieved in some cool helices but in the final brake. WTF?

Over the summer me one of my friends my sister and her friend all drove down to Kings Island, drank some Red Bull, and rode this without getting off 8 times at night lol it is probably the WORST rollercoaster ever but it's oddly fun at night when you're brain is a jacked on red bull

I was something like 5 when I first rode this 1992 or so.
All I remember is that I was utterly certain that the choppy-arm statues were determined to kill me, and that the ride operators were terrified that my sobbing was a result of some kind of injury that they would result in them getting fired.
I feel like I learned a lot, that day.
