Instead I'll clarify by saying in their best interests and not just what they think benefits them (and only in the short run).

I never vote for the lesser evil. there was no way Obama or McCain were getting my vote. And the problem is people DO vote thier interest and that is the problem because they want stuff and the want gov't to fix problems. People elect who they think they can get the most goodies out of.

In all corporations, the Treasurer is supposed to protect the savings of the company. Geithner would be fired in a heartbeart in the private sector.
