This is a modified Super Cub (PA-18-180) performing a banner pickup. The airplane starts at about 200 feet, nose-dives, rotates about 8 feet off the ground and the tail hook then catches a loop in the rope of the banner. The aircraft then climbs quickly up to 200 feet, levels out, gains airspeed and the banner is peeled off of the ground. I used to do this, now Im am Airline Captain.
