My soul is an infinitesimal grain of sand But it is a never ending Universe Unfolding onto itself again and again It is soft, square Rough and circular It is in the center of my brain And all around the world My soul is a blend of love and hate Pleasure and pain It is Sanely Insane Imperfectly perfect Full of dehydrated rain It is never wrong But never right My soul is surrounded by infinite darkness Shot through with never ending light.
The funny thing is, that our universe CAN be created from nothing as long as the sum of all energy&matter in the universe is zero. (the sum of it is still nothing)
We can measure the curvature of the universe and current measurements show that the universe might be "flat". A flat universe means, that there is no energy or matter in it that could curve spacetime.
So, "before the "bang" (considering time and space, and therefore the notion "before" and "after" are the one´s who enable us to understand the principle of "begining") there was energy, matter (cos everything is matter one way or another-even the space vacumn is matter). And it is there, whithout "was", "is" and "will be" (sice this notions only exist because we have the ability to elaborate significance to them). That is the best i can dthink of, when reflecting upon this questions:)
Chaos and order in my mind are all the same. Before the "bang", there was something, which was nothing to us before we have born and will be nothing after we die, but it always exist. It is energie, matter, and matter cannot be created or destroyed. It just "is". Our mind is not ready to full understand this implication, but for me, ha is the natural path to trying to understand some of this complex stuff. people have to read a little William Blake to get a better picture:).

But it is a never ending Universe
Unfolding onto itself again and again
It is soft, square
Rough and circular
It is in the center of my brain
And all around the world
My soul is a blend of love and hate
Pleasure and pain
It is Sanely Insane
Imperfectly perfect
Full of dehydrated rain
It is never wrong
But never right
My soul is surrounded by infinite darkness
Shot through with never ending light.

"Where is your god now?" :)
