  • Thinking of getting the deep blue uv. Do you still have it in your tank ?

  • @chantalllou52 I do have this in my tank and is working very well.

  • This video is completely correct. UV works to rid of ich and so does leaving the tank fallow til the parasite dies off without a host. Ich attach does raise the ammonia level in tank to toxic levels within days. I tested the water before treatment all levels great. 2 days later noticed fish breathing heavy. Test water parameters ammonia level through the roof. Only chemical i would ever use for ich in a non reef sysem is copper

  • @MrJneon12 with you, if it were not for it being a reef I would have used copper. ;~)

  • What size tank do you have? Is the ich still gone? Did you remove the u.v. light after the ich was gone? Thanks.

  • @smilelml789 my tank is 110 gals, ich was gone after about a week and keep it going all the time.

  • I've got some real bad news to share about this jbj submariner. I highly advise you all to watch my video reviews on the product BEFORE you buy one.

  • I'm sorry, but uv sterilizers do not kill ich completely. Notice how you said "twice" the ich was there all along.

  • UV light is the ONLY thing that really will beat ich. Cleared my tank twice

  • uv sterilizer works great got rid of the ick on all fish including the pleco that got the worse of the ick and water is crystal clear now would recommend it to anyone with water cloudiness and parasites, for ick rise the temps up to about 80-82 degrees would help alot with the sterilizer
