I'm sorry you didn't get it, lou is a first assistant director in the film industry... This is a comedy about what it must be like for and AD's family life.. It wasn't intended to be taken seriously.

I laughed, I cried, I peed my pants. Well, almost. So true. I loved the bedroom dialogue..."...standing by.." etc. But you gotta admit a great first AD is gold. (NOT an AD)
