wow. get over it...i am so sick of seeing people argue over the name of tenors. Tenors is *ANY AMOUNT OF DRUMS*. tenors does not mean 6. did you hear that? NOT SPECIFICALLY MEAN 6! quads can be a generic term buddy. search the tim jackson video of him explaining the name.
quad is a GENERIC term...my god you guys are so anal about the names. just play the damn drums not argue over what they are called.

tenor actually means "middle voice"
Like in an SATB choir as in Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass.
