Here's a quick shot of our bird room. I've just recently given up my office to give the babies their own room. I am far from finished "decorating" and furninshing this room, but this will give you a general idea. Our babies seem very happy with having their own room... it's just off my living room where I spend all of my waking hours working or watching the tube. We're adding a beautiful Yellow Collar Macaw to our flock and we can't wait!

  • Your birds are really pretty!! I have a unbrella cockatoo

  • how did you make that net? i am going to get a blue and gold macaw and i really want to make him one. Can you please tell me how

  • How did you make the rope toy? I want to make my own too!

  • Just incredible. Also love the shelf above them; may I steal that idea?

  • Pretty birds, nice toys & room, died fruit wood toys run all over rope and turn out so messy, thats a great idea you have there :)

  • Best room in the house :)

  • cool!

  • Haha. I'll bet they love that!! That's a pretty neat idea having ropes going from each cage to the toy in the middle. The only problem I've seen with giving the birds their own room is that they don't get a whole lot of interaction, but that doesn't seem to be a problem with you. :) Nice work!

  • where do you get the rope? to make your own swings? thanks!
