@magiccarpetride231 No, not everybody learns English in schools as some learn French, Spanish or German. English is not a language of value these days. Looks like you lack quite some travel experience and knowledge in the linguistics field. Your arguments are pretty weak. From what I see you lack quite a bit of education. Don't know where you learned English, you make mistakes in your spelling and haven't learned such thing as punctuation obviously.

Mr. Gorbachev has a great deal of moral authority. He walked away from more power than any man in history. He is right that Georgia should simply be demilitarized. Then it will not be a threat, and it can remain neutral.

As an American I can say that is a generous view. I would add that one problem with America is that we generally dont know much about world politics. In addition, our failures rarely come home to roost. Even after 9/11 it was practically forbidden to suggest that the attack was a consequence of our policy in the middle east. Just to suggest a link was grounds for being fired, etc., especially if you worked in media.
