PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION.

Here it is! :D

Sorry for the insanely long wait. ^^; I began working on this as a project for myself on October 6th of last year. I finished Romanizing it in the following November, but I did not finish the video and translation until late June of this year. ^^; (And many reasons prevented me from uploading it until now.

Now before I go into the romanization notes, I want to point out a translation that I'm very dissatisfied with: "Odemashi." Odemashi is a EXTREEEEMELY formal way of saying the verb "to come," but there is unfortunately no English equivalent. :( So after yanking my hair for about a week, I settled on the translation you see there.

The original Japanese lyrics can be found here: http://www.voiceblog.jp/zenna/896400.html
and on a livejournal site that I've forgotten. :( There are translations on it, too, but I did not use them for reference (seeing as I forgot the site.) If anyone knows of it and can provide the link, I'll update this description then. :)

And now for the Romanization notes:

() = Usually, this means that the words within the parentheses are being sung in the background.

* = The preceding word is in katakana.

** = I gave words with the letter "n" in them a " ' " to differentiate them from the other type of "double n". =)

*** = The preceding letter is smaller than the rest (usually indicating an extended sound). I left some in because I thought that it'd look messy to put "***" after every letter. ^_^;

**** = In Japanese, Kreig's name is spelled "Kuriiku," but I kept the pattern consistent and Romanized his name as "Kreig." :)

***** = Yeah, I had absolutely no idea how to Romanize this one. ._.; Sorry. "っ" Is a concept that is re~ally hard to explain. For singing purposes, it's best to just imitate what is being sung. ^_^; I left a few of the "ッ" in also. It doesn't really make a difference when singing it, but I didn't want to take it out. ^^;

In the cases where there are double consonants (e.g. "tt"), this usually means that the sound of the consonant is elongated; however in singing (from what I've heard), the singer elongates the preceding vowel for greater ease.

If I left out anything that may cause confusion (or if I made any mistakes that you'd like to point out), let me know! =D

  • Man I love this song wish I could find the one where Nico Robin sings the whole thing.

  • @Beastshadow1 I'm pretty sure it's somewhere on Youtube. (I used it to help figure out whether I was romanizing some stuff correctly; Her enunciation was wonderful. *laugh*)

  • I've watched this so many times I can almost SING IT!

    EDIT: English AND Japanese version

  • @CutyLucyChan13 Not at all! :D It's a medley of a bunch of anime and game songs. Search "Kumikyoku Nico Douga," and you'll find the original version of it. :) (This is just a flippin' awesome parody with One Piece-centric lyrics.)

    And thank you very much! :) Glad you like it. ^^
