Mayor Daley is a traitor and a piece of crap. Banning guns only takes guns from the people who obey the rules. The criminals, who for obvious reasons don't obey the rules, will still have guns. Crime will then massively increase, Mayor Daley knows this only too well and he doesn;t care.

Mayor Daley should be arrested and charged with high treason.

He obviously has no understanding or respect for property rights. Not only when it comes to firearms. But for businesses as well. The government should have no right to mandate to a private business whether to allow smoking or not. The owner and the free market should decide that. If the business caters to smokers then it would be allowed. If it caters to mostly nonsmokers then it would probably not be allowed if it had an adverse effect on business. The owner should make the decision.

I support the mayor on banning guns . I also support wearing my helmet everywhere I go even though people point and laugh at me I know deep down that I'm safe from head injury. On the radio program Coast to Coast last night, they had a 4-hour program dedicated to some suspected serial killer(s) doing people in on the long and lonely stretches of Nevada's I-80. A family member of an 86-year-old man that mysteriously vanished around April 14, along with the show's host and a cop investigating, took phone calls from people around the country and one person asked if the fellow's father was carrying a gun. The guy said he wasn't but that now ... all of his family "packs."

@gape2011 my guns dont kill people. because i dont kill people. i am a veteran and former law enforcement and i have been fully trained on how to safely handle and keep firearms. so you tell me why i should not be allowed to own and keep firearms. where i live we have crimes like home invasions and stuff like that. i will not give up my right to defend myself my family and my home and will do so with deadly force if i am forced to. you dont want guns fine but dont try to tell me i cant have them
