@ln4321 Unfortunately, in repressive cultures like Saudi Arabia, they use religion as means to keep women in an unreasonable state of submission. The double standards are there for all to see too: while most of the women are forced to remain covered in public, the men do go to clubs where female belly dancers entertain them. Often these dancers wear nearly nothing. I acknowledge there is hypocrisy in American religious systems, but there is plenty in sharia law too.
