or........Start>All programs>accessories>notepad

i did exactly as u said i open it the black command prompt opens then instantly closes

and its even MUCH easier just to set an timer into a bat shutdown command.

You're a dumb idiot
cuz its useful for people like me that leave stuff downloading while i sleep and see the download ETA and i put the command to shutdown around that time so my pc isn't on for no reason
