http://journeysbypaul.com/ This symphony was rehearsing in the Roman Stadium in Orange, Provence, and I captured an excerpt of Gershwin's American in Paris from the park above it. Recorded yesterday on 7/08/07 on a Canon Powershot 550 still camera. The clicks are noises made when the zoom is used. Design problem. More adventures on www.journeysbypaul.com

  • Yeah, you're right. I don't know why I said 'stadium.' Maybe because I thought that when I first saw it. I'll change the name if I can.

  • I like the part when the trombones do that slide.

  • Wow. Sounds like that place has great acoustics, especially considering it is outside.

  • Nice, but it is the Roman Theatre, though better preserved than the one in Arles, but there are still Roman Arenas in use in Arles and Nimes.
