As a 56 yr old guy who loves Rod Stewart,I must honestly say the best voice in all of rock and roll was Rod Stewarts. Oh ,you had the "Flash in the pan guys" but with Rod ,you always just got him. ..I listen to every song he has sung and when he finally goes,just as we all must ,I hope the last post someone puts up is "I'll be seeing you"

@JimmyDistant We're all entitled to opinions although I honestly think that it'd be silly to consider Rod Stewart such a threat to 'the beauty of music' when there's this great influx of Justin Biebers and Lady Gagas that are a much bigger danger.

By the way, if (and this is in regards to your first comment) you happen to be such a great singer why don't you save 'the beauty of music' yourself, it's no good just sitting around blaming others.

@JimmyDistant Beautifully done, excellent rendition. There is so much feeling in the way Rod sings this and all of the American Songbook tracks. That's my opinion.  Sure thre are many excellent versions but that doesn't take away from this nor does he take away from the others.
