  • Nice! Yay more Mark on youtube!

  • This is not the version broadcast, without video, as the 1st presentation on the 1st panel of #PdFLeaks. That version begins in the quiet of 4:33:

Coming from Australia, a nation that has nurtured Julian Assange, a nation whose political leaders have been falling over each other in their eagerness to hand him over to the American government: "If only he were here…"

It's a bit embarassing, and it perfectly illustrates Australia's perpetual role as a toady-ing junior power.

  • Inspired by the corporate crackdown on Wikileaks I thought it might be interesting to code up a cablegate mirror application that can announce and listen for other similar mirrors, and run as a self-connecting network. I'm now adding tools to help researchers search the cables more efficiently. It's an Open Source Ruby project and I'm keen for people to clone it and host their own copies. See github.com/davesag/cablegate

  • great summary
