@Hom409 I love jets, and my favorite one is the Cf-18 hornet. It has been my dream to fly in one for many years. I go to the lethbridge airshow every year, and it is awesome. You are so lucky! Great show man.

i still don't understand why the canadians would choose the f18 when they don't even have an aircraft carrier. isn't that a waste of money and technology to equip ground-based air force with carrier-based planes?

I have flown many times from Lethbridge to Medicine Hat to Calgary in a Dash-8.
It never looked that good... :)

Thank you so much. My boys and I watched you flying at the airshow and over Medicine Hat and met you at airport later in the day. Its all they talk about, and they loved to see the video from the cockpit cause I got video from the ground that day, in Medicine hat.

JzzzzCN, although we do not have any aircraft carrier, we very often use the arresting system when we deploy to short runways. Many of the runways up north are 6000' long. Add the fact that the runway could be contaminated with snow or ice, we do need the hook to stop within safe distance. The F16 uses the Hook for emergency only and requires significant inspection thereafter.
Many factors goes into choosing which aircraft(Capabilities, Range, Weapons)

I use my HUD footage which has the voice recording. I use Adobe Premier Pro and you can hide the Video but keep the sounds. I can use the sounds from multiple source of video and just hide the video. This way you can hear the breathing and the sound of the jet as we fly the high speed pass over the crowd. The A10 guys uses another video camera but I do not like the loose cables while doing aerobatics.
