  • Ok here is a question. If I did not want to pay to shoot on an anamorphic lens with the RED ONE camera is there something that can block off the safety zone for anamorphic for my on set monitors?

  • @ShaneAMiller1 Good question - well, some monitors come with the option to turn on safe zones. Doing that will basically give you white guidelines as to where the borders of anamorphic, or any other format would be. Alternatively, and most common on a low budget, grab some gaffa tape and do it yourself by sticking on your monitor it above and below your image :) x

  • Question, if you have no only one clip instad a hole edition full done on the time line, how can I made this changes? I mean, can I duplicate all the timeline?

  • @patoblet I don't quite understand, could you rephrase the question? x

  • @REELOnlineFilmSchool cool thanks

  • @3KidPlay Any camera will give you this look as it's a post production process - the colour grading/bleach bypassing is done after the footage is shot. I guess strictly the best camera to do it, would be a film camera of some kind, then you could actually apply the process genuinely instead of trying to replicate it digitally... but that's probably a little ott x

  • @REELOnlineFilmSchool What would you say is the best camera for the bleach bypass

  • @CFTWFILMS thanks - we think it really adds to the whole 'film' look - shooting anamorphic is obviously about a lot more than just widescreen, but it's certainly one of it's main characteristics :) x p.s. sorry for the stupidly late reply, only just seen this comment x

  • @Waltereds sorry for the amazingly late reply! We havent had any experience with FC Express but I'm sure it'll work on there too - hope that this tut was helpful :) x
