  • @13loomisst Oh, is that what he was saying? I didn't catch it, wondered what it was!

  • Love these clips. The panel and moderator always so sophisticated and urbane. I have to say that this is a rare miss for Dorothy with the dress, however. It is quite a tribute to the style and grace of both Dorothy and Arlene that this is the first time I can remember either of them "missing" with an outfit.

    Rather amazing considering the sheer volume of shows they did.

  • I don't care what anyone says...Bennett's corny puns were the best! Lol.

  • Very odd ... "Do you work on, in or beneath the water?" "No." ... Why in the world would Martin Gabel ask, "Do you work on the water?" Why in the world would Daly think that was logical? .... I'm thinking they both thought Arlene had asked, "Do you work on, in AND beneath the water?" But she didn't. .... And, come to think of it, what's the difference between "in" the water and "beneath" the water? ... Oh, well. It doesn't matter. I just like to type comments on YouTube.

  • " . . . the cross-examination powers of a Clarence Darrow."  That's Dorothy, all right!

  • Mr. Daly provides his own pronunciation of "Los Angeles." Thank you very much.

  • normally i would agree but martin insisted on asking his question- so he suffered the consequences of being told 'no'.

    also, i thought someone would ask scaffold much earler.

  • John wrongly gave Martin a no because "on, near, or under" had already been eliminated when Arlene got a no. Martin's question was thus redundant and he should have been allowed to proceed.

  • Yes, that introduction was adorable :D

    Thanks for posting all these episodes again - really missed WML! (;
