  • Oh how we miss Diane Bish on the organ their. She always made that Riffati Organ the first and foremost in performance at the church. The organ was centeral, it received first place on T. V.

  • I enjoyed Ms. Bish's broadcasts from Coral Ridge very much, also. But it seems to me, the work of Samuel Metzger is also played with command and is very balanced, extremely well prepared, as well. With the numbers of organists constantly diminishing throughout the world (very, very few full-time jobs exist for organists), we should all lift up those whom GOD sends to our churches in prayer and thanksgiving, remember good times passed, but cherish what is before us NOW.

  • God works marvelous wonders through His Spirit manifest in beautiful music.

  • @anb740 Wish that were the case in my parish...

  • @istgone LOL That would be a resounding NO! I'm fortunate enough myself to play for a church that's still about 90% traditional. The traditional service is actually growing in size while the "rock-n-roll" service is dwindling.

  • @anb740 You mean you don't like the contemporary stuff? Oh dear, then you musn't be a Christian. (Or so they tell me when I complain about contemporary.)

  • I'm guessing this video was made before the current pastor turned the church into the mess it's in today. Yet another church with an excellent music program laid to waste by the Contemporary movement and the dealings of a single pastor. Thanks for the video and the memories!!!

  • Not bad, but this version doesn't have the dynamic range like the one the Crystal Cathedral choir did. That being said, most everything the Coral Ridge organist and choir put together is usually incredible.

  • eyes welled up

  • Good job guys. this is a hard one to pull off. not a lot of room for error. impressive! oh, and nice organ :o)
