Please tell me I'm not the only one who, as a kid, saw the pink stuff at 2:50 and thought of Pepto-Bismol.. lol

Do you know what's the one with like a circular xylophone machine that shoots out balls from a funnel to drop them on the notes?

that purple face @ 00:45 scared the crap outta me when i was a kid

The synth sequence at the beginning just gets me so bad!
I don't know why but it gives me this nostalgic overload even if it doesn't bring back any specific memories!
Truly awesome soundtrack to go with these incredible animations!
I hope soon this style of CGI will make it's comeback!

I was watching this a playing Star Fox. Polygon madness

@tripdefect87 I just like the more stylized elements of it. Like... Yeah, it's awesome that computer animation now can basically make stuff that looks real, but there's something about the stylized people, animals, and everything else that I really dig

@Waxer3929 It's a short film entitled "Metafable", and I've always thougt it weird also.

@BlueSilverStars I'm the exact same way dude. I just love how crude and strikingly organic it looks, from an artistic standpoint I mean
I'm hoping to save up enough at some point to buy an Amiga so I can try my hand at this sort of thing

when i get older i hope i can still be able to share minds eye with my children
Dude, I love old computer animation. If I was a computer animator, I wouldn't even WANT to update my techniques or software. There's something mystifying and nostalgic about old computer animation. And it's more interesting and creative than the new stuff. Or maybe that's just me. xD

The segment from 1:50 on. For some reason my siblings and I automatically equated all the creatures here to members of our family.XD I think we were trying to rescue our Dad from being trapped under the red stuff. My favorite part was when we transformed into the sort of manta-shaped things.
