Does anyone have the ESPN Championship Week theme from c. 1992-1993? This song was used ONLY during championship week. It had a much more serious tone to it than the regular college BBall theme at the time.

Best theme they've ever had. Bring it back!

This theme reminds me of the Duke teams of the late 90s/early 2000s. Trajan Langdon, Elton Brand, Corey Maggette, Shane Battier, Mike Dunleavy Jr, Jay Williams, Carlos Boozer.... I loved those teams when I was a kid and am still a diehard Duke fan.
"The Dukies are unstoppable baby!!"

Even though I lived (and still live) in ACC territory, this theme reminds me of the 1995 and 1997 ACC Tournaments.

@nillawafer16 That is my favorite version! The current theme is a pile of garbage, but I have yet to find the 01-04 theme on this site. It's used in the College Hoops 2K5 PS2/Xbox game, though. So maybe you could get it off that.

does anyone know who composed this?
There was an episode of Cheap Seats in which Randy and Jason Sklar were ripping on a telecast of a high school basketball slam jam which contained this music, and they made up their own lyrics to the song. It was pretty funny.

@FutureNewsAnchor you mean when they sang something like .......
"Basketball's for tall guys,
"It's a game for tall guys,
"Basketball's for tall guys.....and tall girls!"
Yeah I actually remember that! LOL

@KDviewer07 I was actually referring to: High school slam jams are really fun/ High school slam jams are number one... and it goes on like that.

@FutureNewsAnchor Oh ok, my bad. I'm guessing the one I was talking about was when Randy and Json were doing an episode on the 1995 High School Slam Dunk Contest, where Kevin Garnett and Vince Carter competed at the time.
