A huge dredging operation aimed at removing most of the PCB's from the bed of the upper Hudson River began on May 15th with a single five-cubic-yard scoop by a dredge. Years of digging will follow.

  • Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)

  • The real problem is the amount of PCBs that remain in the existant biomass. Do we have anything as to the rate of clearance from the environment?
