Not much needs to be said about this video. What a treat. 3 Grand Master Scholars on a panel discussion moderated by Anthony Browder who is a Master Scholar and Teacher. Dr. John Henrik Clarke, Dr. Yosef ben-Jochannan and Dr. John G. Jackson. This video will blow you away.

Among other things, they talk about what caused them to dedicate their lives to studying and teaching the history and culture of African people.

  • All this damned hoopla and clapping every few seconds is foolishness! The white man has nothing to worry about based on the behavior of black folks. Shut the hell up, listen and learn dammit! It's hard to watch with so much foolishness in the audience.

  • MrFredGSanford, people are just excited about seeing their heroes live and in person speaking. They don' t mean any harm by cheering them on. Just because they are clapping and cheering doesn't mean that they are not learning.

  • Those that have a problem with the clapping and cheering are the same ones who yell at the TV screen when they're watching the NBA or NFL. Not to mention how many times they call American Idol... The Elders ALWAYS told history with a sense of humor. People are more apt to remember the stories that way. Laughter releases all that built-up carbon in your body and relaxes your mind to embrace TRUTH.

  • PROVOCATIVE AND POINTLESS. IVE SEEN MUCH,MUCH BETTER FROM DR CLARKE...

  • where can I find Dr. Clarks book in Canada?

  • Wow!

    Great words to grow on.

  • I partially agree w/ mjrob1914, but the point is that there is a time and place for everything, and that clapping constantly for any reason kind of takes away from the experience.

  • I agree, if I was so lucky to be there I would have been standing up and clapping too.
