We played this for a final concert this year in the Youth Orchestra I am in. Myself and the other trumpets were surely quite exhausted after such efforts in the fanfare section!
This is brilliant, I would loved to have heard it live!

This is the first time I've ever heard the standard orchestral version. If you get a chance, listen to the recording from the Ossipov Balalaika Orchestra from the 1960s/1970s. It's fantastic (as well!)
