HOT, HOT, HOTest! I love the man. Does anyone have his recording of "If I Were A Bell"? please post it! It is mighty. This guy's phrasing was so supreme and he was too cool. I was lucky enough to see him several times in L.A. I will forever miss him.

A little after 2:40 Thelonious and John Lewis try to play breaks but Christian McBride walks through! Joe Williams is the man.

Holy heck! I just saw Bill and Hillary. 1:45, 2:00, 3:07, 3:10. Although if I read the info I shouldn't have been surprised.
I guess she should be singing it to him, huh?

Joe is but ONE of the many greats on this bandstand. Look at all that history. Grover Washington has plenty of gull to play with these cats.
