    You don't have to but if you keep it in there, you will be clocking @ 1333Mhz instead of 1600Mhz. Your choice.

    @Seong Hong you can if you want. It'll underclock @ 1333MHz & not take advantage of the 1600MHz of the Corsair RAM.
