First flight of restored Curtiss JN4D "Jenny" !! Serial Number-1 !! Recovered from a barn in Ohio where it had been stored since 1926. This is Part-1: Take-Off, Fly-By's, and Landing. [please excuse huffing and puffing, but I am 65 and ran 300 yards to get this video] -= FIRST ATTEMPT TO USE YOU-TUBE =-
I'm in awe, this is terrific!

But there was no Curtiss Jenny s/n 1, Curtiss numbered their aircraft consecutively starting with the early planes, so the first Jenny would have had a serial number in the 4 digits. This "s/n 1" must've been given to this aircraft later in its life.

Great video of the very first Curtiss "Jenny" that came out of the factory. It is simply amazing that this aircraft is still in existence.
