Editor's note: This talk is a personal narrative and is not yet backed by larger experimentation.

Dr. Terry Wahls learned how to properly fuel her body. Using the lessons she learned at the subcellular level, she used diet to cure her MS and get out of her wheelchair.

OMG! Here's this lady trying to teach us through her example, one of the few on TEDX who are NOT blowhards, and you want to take her apart? What is it about her exactly that you do not like? That she has no makeup on? That she 's not tottering about on pumps or stillettos? That she didn't put herself through a session at the hair salon before she took the stage? That she acts and talks like a genuine human woman devoid of fancy accents and mannerisms? Unbelievable!

Great talk! PubMed was mentioned and this is one of my most valuable sources when looking for research material on health issues. The modern diet is making us sick. Modern doctors would better serve their patients if they were trained more in nutrient.

Omega 3 does not come from fish, it comes from the algae and plants that they eat. Eating Chia seeds has much more Omega 3 than fish, and does not destroy the oceanic eco system, and does not have heavy metal toxins that fish have. There are many other adverse effects to eating fish as well. A purely plant based diet puts our body and our environment into natural balance, and is the ethical and logical choice. Time to wake up to the 21st century and behave as a modern human being.

Congratulations to you, however, you have to think about the message that you are sending here… There is no need to revert to primitive stone age behaviour and continue the needless thoughtless slaughter of animals, which is a very illogical fear based survivalist and self-centred behaviour. The logical choice would be to obtain Coenzyme Q from soybean and olive oil, grape seed, parsley, sesame seeds, peanuts, and other plant based sources.
