Sternreiter Kissing Couple cuckoo clock - 1315

This is a charming piece from Sternreiter. It features a music box with animated kissing couple. This is an affordable clock with all the charm of a Black Forest cottage. While the cuckoo calls, the little German boy sneaks a kiss underneath the window - out of sight. A zither player comes out to play a tune.

This clock is a one-day cuckoo with music. The clock has wooden hands, bird, and a wooden dial. It has several laser-cut features and incredible wood carvings with exquisite detail.

The clock comes packaged in genuine recylced or renewable materials, each clock made and packaged BY HAND by Black Forest craftsmen the same way they have been for hundreds of years. The cuckoo bird, hands, numbers, and dancers are all made of solid wood.

The bird moves along with the mechanically produced music and cuckoo call. The sound of the bird is produced by real wooden whistles and the music box movement is hand made in Switzerland. After the cuckoo calls, the zither player comes out and plays a tune.
