  • What speeds are you getting out of it n r u running vxl coz if so mine probably does about the same speed as yours btw I'm running a 4000mah 11.1v lipo as well.

  • @tatianatiana Well, what you see on the radar gun is what i see when im driving, 62 mph then it blows over backwards. Its a Castle 3800kv 4 pole motor and Mamba max Pro ESC. 5000mah 40c 3s. When i 1st got this Rustler it was just a plain VXL Rustler. It did 62 mph then also, I had it geared 28/83 on 3s doing 62 mph on stock tires with the VXl system.

  • Where do you get the radar guns from

  • @tatianatiana Ebay, bushnell sportster II.

  • I'd recommend setting a flashlight or something behind that speed radar so the screen is more visible on the video.

  • @psychastria Thanks for the recommendation, half the time im trying to keep light glare off of it and the other half im trying to light it! It really needs a backlit screen.

  • Thanks man

  • @95666 if u put on a wheelie bar tht helps alot!!! if i didnt have a wheelie bar i wouldnt drive mine tht fast

  • @viciousroadietom Hey thanks! I already planned on putting fuel tube in the shocks, the body mount flipped i think is gonna do alot for the front, ill try it. I have a bandit body but im afraid to use it incase it flips and skids at 60+ mph the Rustler body will save the shocktowers. I will try the other ideas tho =)

  • this is the first time i've seen anyone else running the RPM bumper upside down, if you don't mind i've got a few tips that might help...

    1) if you flip the front body mounts you can lower the front end a little.

    2) if you mount a spoiler to the nose of the body or on the bumper you can get a little more down force but it'll cause a little drag.

    3) you can disassemble the shocks and rebuild them with spacers to make them shorter, effectively lowering the car a little.

    4) bandit body for speed...
