About the crew:
Karen Yun-Lutz is a very talented professional still photographer in the Pittsburgh area who agreed to take this project on after I pitched her my concept and potential cast. She brought in Kevin M. Hayes, who volunteered his time and talents as both an actor and make-up artist, and John Pullman, who did the lion's share of the camera work. Karen also spent hours chasing down costume pieces.
W. Randy Hoffman has been one of my closest friends for nearly 20 years, and is still, even though I made some heavy demands on him. A staunch member of Steeler Nation, he not only wore the hated Ravens ballcap, but purchased the cursed thing and refused to be reimbursed for it. Randy's talents as an actor are often on display at an annual Science Fiction convention in Pittsburgh called Confluence, but he is also adept at writing and performing his own songs as well.
This video was shot in Brookville at Benton's Hillside Grill (verse 1 and part of the ending chorus). We were graciously hosted by Emily Benton, who gave us the run of one side of her fine restaurant to film in. I would be remiss if I did not express our deep appreciation for her warm hospitality. We also shot at the Toby Hill Bar and Grill in Clarion (verses 2 & 3). Will Northey, the owner, was similarly gracious and helpful. Again, I would like to express a heartfelt 'thank you.'
Finally, two old and dear friends of mine, Dave Clement and Jim Long had enough faith in the project to put up some cold, hard cash to help cover travel and meal expenses for the crew. I hope they are pleased with the results of their investment.
Please note, this song and video are the property of Peter Grubbs. Feel free to share this video AS IS, but any modification or editing without my permission is strictly prohibited.
That was GREAT! Lyrics couldnt be truer! Did you write it?

@sedanosable Yes, this is my own song. In fact, when you listen to the music track, everything you're hearing is me. I used a drum machine for the drum track, so that's a bit of a cheat in a way, but the guitar, bass, keyboard and vocal tracks are all me.
I tend to be busy. :)

@Bobemakk Thanks, Bob! we were def. trying for a comic treatment for the video. I was very fortunate in having people to work with who were on the same creative wavelength that I was. We had a really good time working together and I think that shows.
